DALLAS - Help yourself to some nuts this holiday season: Regular nut eaters were less likely to die of cancer or heart disease - in fact, were less likely to die of any cause - during a 30-year Harvard study.
Nuts have long been called heart-healthy, and the study is the largest ever done on whether eating them affects mortality.
" Critics of those who claim that man-made global warming is a serious threat to the planet and settled science frequently point to the fickleness of scientists on the issue, noting that in the 60s and 70s scientists were warning of just the opposite. It now appears the critic’s claims may have merit as a new consensus is beginning to once again return to the global cooling model.

One of the men that won the Nobel Prize for economics this year says that "bubbles look like this" and that he is "most worried about the boom in the U.S. stock market." But you don't have to be a Nobel Prize winner to see what is happening. It should be glaringly apparent to anyone with half a brain.

While stockpiling food is an important part of preparing to face a disaster, your stockpiling shouldn’t be limited to just food. Experience has shown that in the face of a major disaster, much more than the food supply line is severed.
If we look at Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Sandy, we find that pretty much all of the infrastructure goes down in the face of a major disaster.

Winter weather conditions can vary quite a bit depending on the region you live in, from constant rain and sleet to thick blankets of snow and black ice. Then, sometimes it just gets plain cold, with little rain or snow, but perhaps some wind chill to drop things down to below zero. In any case, winter can bring some harsh weather in its wake, but you can prepare for it so that you and your family aren’t caught by surprise.
How Youngevity® Works for You

“When people make network marketing hard, or they say it’s boring, that’s because they’re treating it like a job” says Carol Bishop. Success in Youngevity® hinges on your ability to be your own boss. Nobody is there to check if, and when, you’re at your desk, answering your phone, or how many hours you put in.
Youngevity® works if you have the right attitude.
While this lesson holds true for all of life, attitude is everything when you’re building your Youngevity® business. This is especially important when you’re just starting out. The truth is, you’ll hear more “noes” than “yeses” when approaching prospects, but that’s okay. What wouldn’t be okay is if you let the “noes” affect you. Stay positive, keep recruiting, and good things will come your way.
Youngevity® can work for anyone. Anyone who is willing to dedicate a lot of time and hard work in order to gain success that is. Not too many get rich overnight. It takes time and dedication, but Youngevity® will work for you!

Tricks to a Healthy Halloween!
With only a week away from the big All Hallows Eve, most of us are putting the final touches on costumes, making last minute preparations for any Halloween parties, and getting Halloween treats ready for the crowds; it’s our favorite time of the year! When you ask kids, and even many adults, what their favorite holiday is, Halloween is amongst the most popular! And what’s not to love? Adults get to enjoy a night or weekend of dressing up and children get to indulge in mountains of candy without being reprimanded. It’s truly a night of thrills!
Unfortunately, a night of fun can also turn into a morning of chaos with aches, pains, and rashes when adults and kids overindulge in their Halloween treats. We all know that too many sweets are a cause of stomach aches, but also food allergies pose a problem for many adults and kids. According to Food Allergy Research & Education, an estimated 15 million Americans suffer from a food allergy. Additionally, food allergies affect 1 in 13 children.1 In order to make sure food allergies don’t pose a problem for parents this Halloween, make sure you read candy labels carefully and be sure that teachers and other parents that may be hosting Halloween parties, know of your child’s food allergies.
Now don’t think that just because you or your child doesn’t suffer from a food allergy that you’re free to splurge on candy corn and sugar cookies; you still need to watch what you’re eating. The last thing you want to do after Halloween is wake up to tummy aches. After your child is done with their trick or treating or Halloween parties, allow them to have some candy and then put the rest away for later. You will probably have enough candy to last for weeks; even months! We know how detrimental sugar can be to our health, especially in large amounts, so make sure you monitor yours and your child’s sweets intake this Halloween.
A great way to be prepared for the post thrills of Halloween is to prepare your digestive system for all the extra sweets you may be consuming this Halloween. And what better way than to take some probiotics beforehand! Of course our favorite probiotic supplement is Root Beer Belly™, which is a micro-encapsulated sprinkle allowing probiotics to actually survive the stomach acidy and make it into the intestinal tract to provide optimal digestive benefits! Not only that, but with the delicious taste of “root beer” you’re basically having a Halloween treat in itself!
Stay healthy and avoid the stomach aches this post Halloween! Prevention is the key!
